If an item is not listed on any of these then nothing happens when it gets put in that setting: To the left is a chamber labelled "Input", where something is placed in for it to be potentially upgraded depending on the setting, and on the right is a chamber labelled "Output", where the now modified object placed in the left chamber appears in. In the middle of it is a copper panel with a knob and an arrow attached to it, alongside the words "Rough, Coarse, 1:1, Fine, Very Fine" written on it.
